Playa de Las Americas is one of Tenerife's favourite resorts, with it's vibrant and cosmopolitan atmosphere it has a real International flavour.

There are some seven beaches ( playas ) in Las Americas, and as you would expect from an international resort, the activities on offer, particularly the water sports, are excellent.There is everything you could possibly need, from scuba diving and paragliding, to jet skis and pedalos, and all are easily available from the numerous activity centres.

Las Americas also offers a vast choice for the serious shopper. The designer boutiques, are well worth a visit, as the prices are very competitive here in the Canary Islands. The same applies to all types of electrical and leather goods, spirits, wines and cigarettes. In fact most goods on offer are favourably priced when compared to the rest of Europe.

There is also a wide selection of restaurants and cafes to choose from, with many different styles of cooking from all over the world, as well as the local Canarian cuisine. Every taste and price range are catered for, with internationaly renowned chefs at many of the finer restaurants.

As the restaurants begin to close, the local night life starts to kick in. Las Americas is world famous for its nightclub scene, with a vast array of club life to keep you dancing and partying ‘til dawn..............
