Colin Kirby – Freelance feature writer & blogger
Coming to a bus stop near you soon, well he loves to explore Tenerife and 7 years after moving from Oxford, he’s still finding new treasures. Originally coming to work for The Western Sun newspaper, Colin lingered like a bit of old cheese, and after 4 years branched out to freelance for Living Tenerife among others. Sorted Sites opened his eyes to the wonders of blogging and website copy, so now he tries to straddle the 2 worlds with a sense of fun, nearly always wearing his CD Tenerife shirt. colin @ tenerifemagazine.com
Andrea Montgomery – Freelance feature writer, blogger & author
In 2003 Andrea arrived on Tenerife from Stockport with a container of furniture and a quest for adventure, trading high heels and a fast car for flip flops and a Fiat Punto.
Freelance feature writer, blogger, copywriter and co-author of Real Tenerife Island Drives and Going Native in Tenerife, Andrea lives in Puerto de la Cruz with Jack and a white cat with attitude, no tail and a penchant for Greek yoghurt. andrea@tenerifemagazine.com
Jack Montgomery – author, blogger, feature writer and shocking poet
In 2003 author, blogger, feature writer and shocking poet, Jack Montgomery swapped working in an office overlooking the Theatre of Dreams for working from home overlooking banana plantations in North Tenerife. Since then meticulous research into the island’s culture (i.e. staying out at fiestas till dawn and eating odd looking things with tentacles) has led to two books, ‘Real Tenerife Island Drives’ & ‘Going Native in Tenerife’, magazine and website articles and various blogs including the Victor Meldrew-esque ramblings of Living Beneath the Volcano. jack@tenerifemagazine.com
